Design and Build
The Kitchus Moon assembly consists of an aluminum blade measuring 13 inches wide by 16 inches long, joined to an oak wood handle that folds over the surface for storage. At 1.5 mm in thickness, the aluminum sheet minimizes the ridge encountered when slipping underneath uncooked dough. Total weight sits at an accessible 2.4 pounds, keeping handling fatigue low. However, buyers should note the dimensional naming: despite the product title highlighting 16 inches, the physical width is restricted to 13 inches. A true 16-inch circular pie cannot sit flat on this surface; rather, the 16-inch measurement refers purely to blade length. The oak handle uses a metal locking fastener to secure the extension, backed by a leather loop for hanging. The package also includes a separate 14-inch stainless steel rocker blade designed to cut across pies in a single downward motion.
