Our verdict	The M18 is a standard budget ergonomic reference point, featuring an adjustable headrest, lumbar support, and a breathable mesh back. While adjustments are broad for the $150 tier, the molded foam seat will gradually compress under daily heavy use. Taller buyers should confirm the headrest adjustment travel matches their torso length.	An all-mesh task chair that emphasizes passive airflow and features space-saving flip-up arms. The flip-up mechanism helps stow the chair under low desks, but limits lateral and height arm adjustments. Prospective buyers should verify that the fixed lumbar curve aligns with their back profile.
Pros and cons	+ Mesh back encourages passive airflow + Includes dedicated headrest and lumbar adjustment + Balanced price-to-feature ratio − Armrests adjust only for height − Seat foam density deteriorates over extended periods	+ Breathable full-mesh seat and backrest + Flip-up armrests allow close desk clearance + Integrated adjustable headrest − Lumbar support cannot be adjusted independently − Armrests lack ergonomic height and angle tuning

Prices and buyer ratings are captured snapshots. A dash means the detail was not recorded, not that a feature is absent. Editorial scores are research assessments, not laboratory measurements.

Our buyer's guides show the full spec ranges and price tiers for a category, which is usually the faster way to narrow a shortlist before comparing two finalists.
